Cancer Patient Services offers FREE services to assist you and your family of caregivers to cope with the effects of a cancer diagnosis. Cancer Patient Services has partnered with professional counselors in the area with a variety of backgrounds and experience to offer you emotional support. Clients of Cancer Patient Services are eligible for up to 10 FREE sessions.   • Jamie has been providing services to children, adolescents, and adults for over 20 years. She specializes in working with children (as young as 3) and families who may be experiencing a variety of stressors in their lives. She has specialized training working with children and trauma as well as specialized training in working with couples struggling with difficult relationship issues. 
  • Jamie has worked with a variety of treatment issues impacting children including such things as ADHD, severe behavioral problems, oppositional/defiant behaviors, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, foster care/adoption issues, abuse (sexual, physical, emotional), trauma, and other problems in adjustment. Jamie works with adult issues including depression, self-esteem, bipolar disorder, OCD, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and managing life transition/stressors. 
  • Jamie also uses a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, mindfulness interventions, and art/expressive therapies. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

  • Jeff brings over 20 years of clinical experience to his clients. He is currently em-ployed as the Clinical Director of ProMedica Physicians Behavioral Health. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). 
  • Jeff has extensive experience in treating families, adults, children, and adoles-cents, on a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues. He has experi-ence working with victims of abuse, and children with behavioral concerns. He enjoys working with parents dealing with problem behaviors. He is also qualified to provide crisis intervention services. 
  • Jeff is also an experienced trainer on a variety of mental health and EAP related topics. Additionally, Jeff has provided clinical and field supervision for counselor trainees.

  • Tally has been a Licensed Clinical counselor for 27 years working with individuals, families, teens, and children. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University MA—Counseling. 
  • Tally has worked in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. He assists clients with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues. Tally specializes in helping clients with depression, substance abuse, trauma, grief and marital (couples) therapy.

  • Jane received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Social Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University. She has been a Licensed Independent Social Worker for over 20 years. 
  • Jane has an extensive background working as a medical social worker in hospital settings, home health, and hospice care. She has worked in the mental health field for approximately 10 years. She has the experience and training to work with adults, older adults, and older adolescents who are experiencing a variety of problems including depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and marital or family conflict. 
  • Jane utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapy approach which challenges clients to examine their thinking an decisions which can lead to positive change in their lives. She has a special interest in and experience working with individuals who are experiencing health concerns or struggling with chronic disease management.

  • Audrey graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2006 and also completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at The Ohio State University in 2010. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and has been working in the mental health field since 2006. 
  • She has worked in community mental health agencies, in schools, at a nursing home, and provided “in home” counseling which included working with a variety of age ranges including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. The majority of her experience is in outpatient therapy providing mental health and drug and alcohol counseling. 
  • Her expertise comprises of mood disorders and anxiety disorders, including de-pression and bipolar disorders.

  • Kristine is a Licensed Professional Clinical counselor and also a Licensed Inde-pendent Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has 35 years of experience in her respective fields. 
  • Kristine enjoys working with the variety of issues that a client may present in treatment. She works well with clients who have mood disorders and life changing issues. She also feels with her experience and compassion she can help people work through grief, relationship, and personal issues. She utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach in therapy to help clients meet their goals. 
  • Kristine offers services M-F until 5pm and is available evening hours on Weds.

  • Carol is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation in the state of Ohio. She possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and gradu-ated in 1987 from the University of Kentucky with a master’s degree in Social Work. Since then, she has worked in several aspects of the mental health and substance abuse fields: outpatient and inpatient settings. My responsibilities have been delivery of primary services and program development. When she has not been employed within the mental health field, I have worked as a medical social worker and a hospice social worker/bereavement coordinator. 
  • Carol has worked in community mental health settings that required her to de-velop a wide variety of skills in working with all ages and addressing a wide variety of needs and diagnoses. Her interests and skills are adolescents and adults, particularly our geriatric population. Clients who have issues related to mood disorders and trauma. She has received specialized training in the treat-ment of trauma issues over the years. My practice style is basically cognitive behavioral, problem-solving, psychosocial education, and Eye Movement De-sensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). ​

  • Barbara is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory en-dorsement. She obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling and Education from Bowling Green State University and many additional clinical hours from Heidelberg University. 
  • Barbara’s past work experience includes teaching in Virginia and Ohio, working as a certified trainer of foster parents for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth, and offering counseling services to families in the Findlay and Upper Sandusky area for nearly 30 years. 
  • Along with several colleagues, Barbara is available through Stepping Stones Counseling Center to provide outpatient counseling to children over the age of 6, adolescents, adults and families dealing with anxiety, divorce issues, bereave-ment, stress management, trauma (including sexual abuse) and mood disorders, including depression.
